Programmes will be supported by the Support Services Cluster (SSC); which includes financial, human resource, fund raising, IT as well as monitoring and evaluation services.

Bruce has extensive experience in the NGO sector having previously been Financial Director of ARK (SA) and before that CIDA City Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a registered CPA (SA). He also has valuable international experience from Diageo PLC (the world’s leading beverage Company based in the UK) and was responsible for running the European Shared Service Centre. He has recently implemented “Maconomy”, an integrated ERP system, for Kheth’ Impilo; which enables every transaction to be captured with attributes such as site, employee, programme, focus area and activity. This has enabled the Support Services Cluster to provide bespoke reporting to fit the Donor’s needs. Bruce is married with 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys reading. He is motivated by turning dreams into reality and recognising the potential in human capital. |
Human Resources
KI Human Resources guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, compensation, benefits, policies, and programs for the entire organization.
HR initiate and lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
HR carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
- recruitment and selection;
- training and development;
- skills development;
- Performance management;
- Health and Safety management;
- Human resource information system,
- employee relations;
- compensation and benefits,
- organizational and leadership development;
- administration; and
- compliance

Finance
The finance department manages all financial, accounting systems and controls throughout the entire organisation. Finance is responsible for ensuring effective financial management of the organisation and its operations through the implementation of quality financial systems and controls in accordance with good accounting practice. Accountable, responsible and capable of multi donor reporting.
IT
IT provides, manages and facilitates access to the electronic infrastructure for the entire orangisation. This important component is vital to Kheth’Impilo and supports responsibilities include:
- Primary Infrastructure Support to National Office
- Hardware and Software procurement
- Ensuring maximum uptime of all services i.e. Email ; FTP ; Web applications; Network Core infrastructure
- Remote support to satellite branches and sites
- Remote telephonic support
- Management and development of Maconomy Financial package
- Management and development of a Support Services Helpdesk Infrastructure
- Setup and deployment of all hardware and software packages.
- Setup of user specific profiles.
Training
Kheth’Impilo places great emphasis on education, training and development. The organisation provides training to professionals on HIV, STIs, TB treatment and prevention, which is accredited with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa. The organisation also provides training on community support specifically designed for the training of our Patient Advocates, which is aligned with the South African Sectoral, Education, and Training Authority (SETA).
