Kheth’Impilo strives towards improving the quality of life, increasing life expectancy and further education and training of people infected and affected by HIV / AIDS. The organisation supports the Millennium Development Goals 1 – 8, being:
- Poverty alleviation – The Community Services Cluster provides psycho-social support through grant access and the organisation supports career pathing of community health workers and further provides education and training to healthcare professionals and community health workers
- Universal Primary Education – The organisation supports Early Childhood Development (ECD) at a community level
- Gender Equality
- Reducing Child Mortality – Supporting PMTCT, Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) and provision Basic antenatal care (BANC)
- Improving Maternal Health – decreasing the maternal mortality rate through improved PMTCT
- Combat HIV / TB – Providing integrated treatment, care and support in the management of HIV and TB
- Environmental Sustainability – The organisation supports recycling and implements systems that migrate towards a paperless environment
- Global Partnership Development – Partnering with Government and Academic institutions to provide improved service delivery, sustainability and operations research
