Corporate Social Investment

Corporate Social Investment (CSI) contributes to a healthy corporate image and builds a positive reputation from a marketing and public relations perspective. Buying into our vision “Towards an AIDS free generation in our time” is a simple yet effective way of earning your BEE points.

As a structured business case, Kheth’Impilo offers return on investment to corporate business, specifically with regard to earning points on your BEE scorecard and providing receipts for donations under section 18A for your tax benefit. Higher scorecard ratings translate to preferred business, which leads to an improved bottom-line for you.

HIV/AIDS and education related spend is marked as top priority in the BEE sphere and therefore corporate should consider giving preference to HIV / AIDS and education related causes. BEE Social Economic Development is geared towards addressing poverty alleviation by stimulating economic participation in creating sustainable access into the economy for previously disadvantaged individuals and communities. Our work speaks directly to this need through education and health services provided.

Kheth'Impilo is in position to offer Social Economic Development contributors between 20 and 50 points in exchange for their SED contributions or portion thereof made depending on the type of scorecard the contributor uses and the programme activities as well as training provided. We can demonstrate that more than 75% of our patients or learners are previously disadvantaged individuals and or communities as reflected under our beneficiaries below.

Overview

Kheth’Impilo views its patient/client base as partners and plays a fundamental role in facilitating their health independence. Kheth’Impilo means “Choose Life” and the organisation responds to the critical need for individuals to exercise the right choices in life, for health. Our reward, knowing our contribution resulted in healthy individuals who live their life with pride and dignity as contributing members of society.

The organisation recognizes the importance of transformation and equal opportunity in South Africa and we requirements set out in the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (BBBEEA), however the organization continues to support employment equity and this reflects in our demographic profile illustrated in Table 1 below.
